Thank you for your interest in my art!

I am a part-time textile artist in Duluth, Minnesota. I’ve been sewing something or other for over 30 years. I can follow a pattern, or make my own pattern, but most often I prefer to do whatever I want and just wing it! My preference is to use as much repurposed materials as I can—through a small network of seamstresses who pass on their scraps, a huge stack of denim jeans to repurpose & recycle, and thrifting for other fabrics. My other hobby is hiking in the natural beauty of our Minnesota North Shore and surrounding areas. These two interests combine in my art as I reimagine North Shore scenery in layers of fabric and thread. I see beauty in textures everywhere and hope you see our North Shore in a new, exciting way through my work!
